About the Instructor

James Galluzzo

James Galluzzo is the principal consultant and owner of HRJ Strategies, LLC, a company providing leadership training and development to help businesses maximize their human capital potential. He has over twenty-five years of human resources, leadership development and strategic planning experience.

Formerly an HR subject matter expert for the United States Army, James has served in a variety of military and civilian HR positions. He has provided his expertise to small private sector companies and government agencies.  James has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Mathematics and an MBA. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). 

James is the author of a comprehensive study guide for the SPHR and PHR certification exams and has been an Adjunct Instructor at the college level, teaching non-traditional students business concepts and strategic communications. He also serves on the National Executive Council of the Adjutant General’s Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA), a military-affiliated, professional organization, as Vice President of Corporate and Community Affairs. 

His purpose in teaching this course is to offer some basic strategies to help others improve their  workplace by creating a strong, positive, working environment.
